Armani White’s creative energy landed him in serious trouble over the weekend. The Philadelphia rapper — best known for his viral 2022 hit “Billie Eilish” — was arrested Sunday night in Kentucky after police say he blocked traffic on Interstate 75 to film a music video.

According to the London Police Department, multiple drivers called 911 after spotting a man dancing on the highway median. Officers arrived to find White and his team filming on the side of the road, with their vehicle parked illegally. Authorities say the impromptu shoot created a major hazard for passing motorists.
The 27-year-old Def Jam artist, born Enoch Tolbert, was booked in Laurel County on second-degree disorderly conduct and parking on a limited-access highway. Booking photos circulating online show White without his signature beaded hairstyle — which, according to police, he was required to remove before his mugshot.
White was later released from the Laurel County Correctional Center. His team has not issued a statement, and he has yet to address the incident publicly. He’s currently on tour with T-Pain, but it’s unclear whether the arrest will affect future dates.
The timing is significant for White. Since “Billie Eilish” exploded on TikTok, earning a multi-platinum plaque, the Philly native has been riding a wave of success built on electrifying performances, colorful visuals, and spontaneous creative energy.
This time, however, that spontaneity may have gone too far.
Fans online were split in their reaction — some defended White’s boldness as artistic expression, while others criticized the move as dangerous and irresponsible.
