Ja Rule Shuts Down Viral Attack Rumors: “I’m Chilling… Not a Scratch on Me”

Written by on 11/21/2025

Rumors lit up social media early this morning claiming Ja Rule was brutally attacked by members of Max B’s crew after a show in New York City—but the Queens legend is calling foul and clearing the air himself.

The frenzy began when online personality Tasha K alleged that Ja Rule was “pretty badly” beaten during an altercation that supposedly happened at Sei Less, a well-known NYC hotspot, following a Monica and Brandy concert at the Barclays Center. Within minutes, the story ballooned across timelines, with commenters insisting Max B’s people were behind the alleged attack.

Ja Rule wasn’t having it.

Jumping onto X, he directly confronted the misinformation and blasted Tasha K for pushing a false narrative.

“Tasha why you lying to these good ppl,” he posted. “Yes some bitch ass n****s tried to jump me. No it wasn’t at sei less and I’m chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me…”

While confirming that an attempt at an altercation occurred, Ja made it clear the story had been wildly exaggerated—no injuries, no beatdown, and definitely no incident at Sei Less.

As for the rumors tying Max B to the situation, nothing points to his involvement. In fact, fans quickly noted that Max B was reportedly still on stage performing when the alleged incident was said to be happening.

For now, the only confirmed hit in this story is the one Ja Rule landed on the rumor mill.
