Ray J Revives Claims Against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner Over Sex Tape Release: Calls Kardashians “Criminal Enterprise”

Ray J is once again leveling serious accusations against Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, reigniting a controversy that dates back more than a decade to the sex tape that first propelled Kardashian into the national spotlight.
Speaking during recent livestreams and social media interviews, the singer and entrepreneur alleged that the tape’s release was never accidental. According to Ray J, whose real name is Ray Norwood Jr., the footage was deliberately planned and monetized.
“What we did was always supposed to be private,” Ray J said. “This was not some random leak. This was a plan.”
Ray J went further, characterizing Kardashian and Jenner as a “criminal enterprise” and claiming he has long been misrepresented as the sole party responsible for the tape’s release.
“They’ve been lying about this for years,” Ray J said. “I’m tired of being the fall guy.”
Old Allegations, Renewed Attention
Ray J’s remarks echo claims he made publicly in 2022, when he shared what he described as messages, contracts and documentation to support his assertion that multiple versions of the tape existed and were part of a coordinated distribution strategy.
“There were contracts. There were meetings. There was strategy behind it,” Ray J said.
Kim Kardashian has consistently denied those allegations, describing the tape in past interviews and on her family’s reality show as a traumatic invasion of privacy that caused her deep humiliation. Kris Jenner has also rejected Ray J’s claims, calling suggestions of orchestration “absolutely false” and stating her priority was protecting her daughter, not profiting from the situation.
Ray J disputes that version of events.
“Don’t tell the public one story while hiding another,” Ray J said. “I lived this.”
No Legal Action, For Now
Despite the renewed accusations, Ray J has not filed any new lawsuits connected to his recent statements. Legal experts note that without court filings or formal complaints, the claims remain allegations rather than adjudicated facts.
Still, the comments have reopened broader debates about celebrity, consent, media power and the origins of modern fame. The Kardashian brand has since grown into a multibillion-dollar empire spanning television, fashion, beauty and technology.
Ray J acknowledged that success, but questioned its foundation.
“You can be successful and still be wrong,” Ray J said. “Those two things can exist together.”
Neither Kim Kardashian nor Kris Jenner has publicly responded to Ray J’s latest remarks. Representatives for both declined comment.
Ray J insists his motivation is personal, not promotional.
