Lil Baby and Lil Yachty Make Christmas Dreams Come True With Atlanta Holiday Toy Drive For 2,000 Kids

Written by on 12/23/2025

Lil Baby and Lil Yachty showed up in a major way for Atlanta’s youth this holiday season.

On Saturday, Dec. 20, the two rappers partnered to host a large-scale holiday giveback in the city’s West End, serving more than 2,000 children and families. The event was organized through Lil Baby’s nonprofit, The Jones Project, in collaboration with The Lil Yachty Foundation.

In an Instagram recap video cued to Lil Baby’s “Middle of the Summer,” a long line of kids and families can be seen cueing up outside a warehouse on Atlanta’s West End to enter the festively decorated space, where members of the Atlanta Hawks cheer team greeted them as they shopped for items including new bicycles, Instamatic cameras, video gaming gear, big screen TVs, laptops, Nerf guns and a variety of toys for little kids. There was also a candy bar with cheery attendants filling plastic bags with all kinds of goodies, a photo op with Santa and a hot chocolate bar.

Lil Baby and Lil Yachty were hands-on throughout the event, spending hours moving through the crowd, personally handing out items and assisting parents with carrying large donations to ensure every child was taken care of.

The giveback was supported by community partners and local sponsors who helped manage logistics and added festive touches, including photo stations, hot chocolate stands, and holiday décor. The celebration also featured appearances from Santa Claus and members of the Atlanta Hawks organization, including mascot Harry the Hawk and the team’s dance squad.

The event reflects both artists’ ongoing commitment to community service. The Jones Project has consistently focused on supporting youth and families in Atlanta’s West End, while The Lil Yachty Foundation prioritizes youth development, mentorship, and educational opportunities across Georgia.

The giveaway came just days after Lil Baby landed his fifth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Rap Albums chart as The Leaks — which was released on Dec. 3 to honor the rapper’s 31st birthday — jumped from No. 25 to hit the top of the list dated Dec. 20.

For many families, the day provided more than just gifts — it delivered relief, joy, and a reminder that their community hasn’t been forgotten.
