Future brought some serious holiday joy to Decatur this season, gifting brand-new shoes to kids and families in need through his FreeWishes Foundation’s annual “Joy in Every Step” giveaway.
Held Sunday, December 21, the event welcomed children ages 2 to 17 — along with their families — to receive fresh footwear just in time for Christmas. Beyond individual families, the initiative also extended support to local schools, shelters and youth-focused organizations in the area, making sure help reached as many kids as possible.
More than just a giveaway, the mission behind the event is powerful and personal: provide properly fitting shoes to children who need them, while bringing happiness to families who may be experiencing financial hardship during the holidays.
Future’s FreeWishes Foundation, founded by the GRAMMY-winning Atlanta native and his family, has long focused on serving Georgia communities through education, wellness support and seasonal outreach. Volunteers and partners helped create a warm, festive atmosphere as families picked up shoes and celebrated the holiday moment together.
