Snoop Dogg Helping To Raise Money To Help Find Cure For Multiple Sclerosis

Snoop Dogg is bringing his legendary energy to one of LA’s biggest charity events this summer.
The West Coast icon will headline the 33rd annual Race to Erase MS Gala on June 5 at the Fairmont Century Plaza, and the foundation’s founder, Nancy Davis, couldn’t be more excited.
“I am thrilled to be able to perform at this year’s MS Gala in LA to bring attention to a great cause and important work that helps so many people,” Snoop Dogg told Variety in a statement about the performance.
For those unfamiliar with the foundation, Race to Erase MS has been fighting Multiple Sclerosis since 1993, when Davis started the organization with one mission in mind: finding a cure.
The annual gala is the foundation’s biggest fundraising event, and every dollar raised goes directly toward research and therapeutic approaches to eradicate MS.
This year’s event will benefit the Center Without Walls program, the foundation’s flagship initiative for advancing treatment options.
The gala itself is shaping up to be a full experience beyond just the music.
Jesse Palmer, the TV personality and ESPN analyst, will host the evening, while Disney Entertainment Television Communications EVP Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul will receive the organization’s Medal of Hope.
The night will also feature a fashion show from L’Agence, a silent auction, and additional live performances.
This is the kind of event where charity meets culture, and Snoop’s involvement signals how seriously the Hip-Hop community takes giving back.
Tickets and more information are available at erasems.org for anyone looking to support the cause.
