Eve Explains Why Her Marriage Works Without Rules

Eve reveals the communication and honesty that keeps her 12-year marriage to billionaire Maximillion Cooper thriving and strong.

Eve and her billionaire husband Maximillion Cooper have built something most people only dream about, and she’s finally breaking down exactly how they keep the magic alive after more than a decade together.

The couple met back in 2010 at the launch party for Cooper’s Gumball 3000 motor rally, and what started as a connection during that week-long event turned into something real.

They tied the knot on June 14, 2014, with legendary Houston rapper Bun B officiating the ceremony, and they’ve been going strong ever since.

The secret? Eve says it’s simple but powerful.

“I was already mid-thirties by the time we got married, and this is his second marriage,” she told People. “I think we both came into the relationship fully ourselves.”

That foundation matters more than people realize, especially when you’re building a life with someone who’s got their own thing going on.

They share a 4-year-old son named Wilde Wolf, born in February 2022, and Eve’s been a stepmother to Cooper’s four children from his previous relationship: Jagger, Lotus, Mini, and Cash.

Living in London with this blended family setup, they’ve had to figure out how to make it all work.

Communication is where the real work happens.

“We enjoy seeing each other do what we love,” Eve says. “We step back when we need to, we come forward when we need to, and we try to be as honest with each other as we can.”

That honesty extends to everything, from career moves to personal space.

“That really helps us. Just allowing each other to be who they are and also just being really communicative and honest when you need to be,” she adds.

Career-wise, Eve’s been staying busy.

She’s currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of her 2001 album Scorpion and has announced a UK and European tour set for October.
