Written by on 08/21/2026

Trina announces her seventh studio album will be her final project after 25+ years in hip-hop, ending a 7-year gap since her last release.

Trina just revealed she’s working on one more album, and it’ll be her last.

The Miami rap legend made the announcement during a recent 99 JAMZ Live interview, confirming what fans have been waiting to hear for years.

“I think I’mma do one more album,” Trina said during the intimate radio session. “I think I got one for in me, so yeah.”

The crowd erupted in cheers at the news.

It’s been nearly seven years since Trina dropped her last album, The One, in 2019.

That gap has left fans hungry for new music from the Queen of Miami, who’s been a fixture in Hip-Hop since the late ’90s.

“It’s been a minute,” she acknowledged. “My last album came out in 2019. Almost 7 years since the album dropped. And next year it’ll be 7 years, so let’s get to it.”

The upcoming project is often referred to as T7 by her dedicated fanbase.

While she didn’t share specific release dates or project details, the announcement itself signals that new music is coming soon.

Trina’s decision to make this her final album comes after more than 25 years in the Hip-Hop industry.

She’s been working on other projects too, including an executive producer role on a movie and soundtrack centered on her life story, which she described as a “baddest chick” narrative and confirmed in January 2026.
