Yung Miami Pens Emotional Letter Telling Judge Diddy Is ‘A Good Man’ Ahead of Sentencing

Written by on 09/23/2025

Yung Miami has broken her silence on Sean “Diddy” Combs — writing a heartfelt character letter to the judge ahead of his upcoming sentencing.

On Monday (Sept. 23), The Shade Room published the letter Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, submitted to Judge Arun Subramanian. In it, the former City Girls rapper made clear she wasn’t defending Diddy’s past allegations, but instead spoke on the man she’s known for the last four years.

“I believe it’s important for the court to know the side of Sean that isn’t always seen… the man who poured into others, who gave opportunities, who led by example, and who loved deeply,” she wrote.

Miami credited Combs with helping her grow as a businesswoman, teaching her to balance work and family, and giving her a career-changing platform with her podcast Caresha, Please. She recalled highlights like their 2023 Met Gala debut and volunteering to feed the homeless together on Thanksgiving 2022.

“In my personal opinion, Sean is not a danger or a threat to the community,” Miami continued. “He is a man of God… I truly believe that he belongs at home with his family. Judge… that’s a good man.”

Diddy was convicted in August on two counts of violating the Mann Act and has been jailed since his 2024 arrest. He faces up to 12 months on each count. His legal team recently asked the court for a 14-month sentence paired with supervised release that would include therapy and drug treatment.
