B.G. Turns Cash Money & No Limit Show Into Marriage Proposal

B.G. asks Brooke Jones to marry him during the New Orleans stop of the historic Cash Money and No Limit arena tour.

B.G. turned the Cash Money and No Limit Tour into a family celebration by proposing to his girlfriend Brooke Jones onstage.

The Hot Boys rapper asked Jones, known online as Bodied By Brooke, to marry him during Saturday night’s New Orleans concert.

B.G. made the move before his hometown crowd at the Smoothie King Center, where the couple embraced after Jones accepted his proposal.

Footage shared within hours of the September 12 show captured the arena crowd cheering as the newly engaged couple celebrated together.

The proposal brought a personal milestone into a tour already built around B.G.’s return to the stage and Cash Money Records.

B.G. and Jones previously discussed their relationship during a joint Drink Champs appearance, where he explained how they met and became close.

The Cash Money and No Limit Tour began September 11 at Houston’s Toyota Center before reaching New Orleans the following night.

The first joint arena tour from the rival New Orleans empires features Birdman, Master P, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, B.G. and Silkk the Shocker.

Mia X, Mac, Fiend, Mercedes, Choppa and Mr. Serv-On also appear, while Boosie Badazz serves as the tour’s special guest.

The 17-city schedule continues September 18 in Atlanta before visiting Raleigh, Detroit, Indianapolis, Dallas, Washington, Chicago and several other markets.

The run ends November 15 at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena after stops across the South, Midwest and East Coast.

“The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time,” Master P said when organizers announced the historic pairing.

The tour places B.G. back beside Cash Money figures who helped reshape Southern Hip-Hop during the label’s late 1990s and early 2000s rise.

His freedom carries extra weight because federal supervision continued long after B.G. left prison on September 5, 2023.

A judge later restricted his contact with convicted felons and required government review of songs created during his supervised release.

Those rules complicated performances and collaborations with artists including Boosie and Gucci Mane, but B.G.’s supervision ended in February 2026.

The rapper, whose legal name is Christopher Dorsey, spent more than a decade in federal prison before returning to music and Cash Money.

“This year I’m celebrating the whole Virgo cycle, matter of fact, from this year forward I’m living and celebrating like everyday is #MyBIRTHDAY,” B.G. wrote before his release. “The main focus is to stay focused. I’m not letting nobody rob me of my productivity, prosperity, positivity and peace of mind. My dreams then got bigger and my vision is clearer.”

He added, “13 years was more then enough time for me to change the reckless path I was on.”

A federal judge sentenced B.G. to 14 years in July 2012 after he admitted possessing firearms as a felon and conspiring to obstruct justice.

The case began with a November 2009 New Orleans traffic stop where police found guns and later accused B.G. of pushing another man to claim them.
